Miasmah is a record label that has slowly carved its own path within the last 20 years, with focus on few yet timeless pieces of music. The label sound often delves within shadows and deep atmospheres and tries to balance the duality between the available and the obscure, which often makes it hard to define.

The label is run by Berlin based Norwegian Erik K Skodvin, who originally started it in its early form as a reaction to the underground demo scene in the late 90s. In 2006, the label, as we know it, started to produce physical editions from likeminded artists to Erik’s own works in projects such as Deaf Center and Svarte Greiner.

Miasmah is distributed by Anost/Morr Music (Worldwide)

DEMO POLICY

We are curious to hear new music and prefer if you send us a link where we can stream your demo. Please understand that we are not able to give individual feedback unless we’re interested enough in your music to pursue a collaboration. Although Miasmah has, and still do, release music by a very international group of artists, we more and more prefer to work with artists who we can meet in person.
